ELBP encompasses a total of 26.6 acres of land and is made up of three major sites: two fulfillment logistic centers that each span over 200,000 sq. ft., a logistics outdoor storage area, and a trailer parking site.
In 2018, Benaroya Holdings, one of the most prominent industrial real estate developers in the greater Puget Sound Region, was hired to oversee and manage the development and financing activities for ELBP. Between 2018 and 2022, ELBP then completed all necessary pre-development demolition and acquired development permits for all sites.
The overall development is divided into two phases. Phase I comprises two separate parcels, parcels B and C. Parcel C provides a facility for outdoor storage and trailer parking, while Parcel B provides an 80,000 sq. ft. cold storage logistics facility with 21 on-site trailer parking spaces. Phase II will consist of a logistics facility with 200,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space, office space, and trailer parking. For Phase I, the first project for outdoor storage and trailer parking was completed in 2022 for Maersk/ DAMCO, the world’s largest logistics company and based in Denmark. The cold storage facility is expected to be completed and ready for occupancy in 2024. The schedule to commence Phase II development is 2025-2026.
